南海北部东沙隆起西侧陆坡坡折处浊流沉积

摘要:
为了分析南海北部上陆坡东沙隆起西侧海域海底稳定性,对A和B两个岩芯进行了AMS14C测年、浮游有孔虫氧同位素分析、粉色Globigerinoides Ruber鉴定、粒度分析等工作。综合研究表明,A、B岩芯分别分别发育了距今920kaB.P.、960kaB.P.以来的更新世、全新世地层。A岩芯3.3-14.08m层位地层发生了倒转,这与3.3m、6.12-6.18m发育的两个浊积层有关。在71.5-71.63m(冰期370kaB.P.左右)也发育一浊积层。B岩芯在9.2m、25.2-28.6m等层位发育了浊积层。同样位于陆坡坡折,水深较大的A岩芯,由于滑坡导致的浊流活动略强一些。

Turbidites at the continental slope bend on the west side of the Dongsha Uplift in northern South China Sea

Abstract:
In order to analyze the seabed stability in the process of paleoenvironmental evolution on the west side of the Dongsha uplift area in the slope of the northern South China Sea, samples of two cores A and B were did AMS radiocarbon-14 dating analysis, oxygen isotope analysis of planktonic foraminifer , pink Globigerinoides Ruber identification, organic analysis, granularity analysis and so on. The comprehensive study shows that A, B cores are respectively developed the Pleistocene and Holocene layers since about 920kaB.P. 960kaB.P..A stratigraphic reversal was found in the layer from 3.3m to 14.08m in the core A , which was related to the turbidite at 3.3m and 6.12-6.18m. There was a turbidite at 71.5-71.63m that was about 370ka B.P. in the core A. There were two turbidites at 9.2m、25.2-28.6m in the core B. Although the two cores are all located at the same slope break, landslide activity due to turbidity was slightly stronger in the core A than that in the core B .
