Abstract: |
The morphological characteristics of the Orbioninae were recorded, and the morphological differences among the genus of the subfamily were compared, To summarize the classification progress of all genus. The geographical distribution characteristics of the Orbioninae in the world and to analyze the zoogeographic region characteristics of the Orbioninae . Up to now, the Orbioninae includes 8 genus 39 species, It is included Anisorbione Bourdon, 1981 (1 species);Asymmetrorbione Boyko, 2003 (2 species);Epipenaeon Nobili, 1906 (8 species);Minicopenaeon Bourdon, 1981 (4 species);Orbione Bonnier, 1900 (8 species);Parasymmetrorbione An, Boyko Li, 2013 (1 species);Parapenaeon Richardson, 1904 (13 species);Parapenaeonella Shiino, 1949 (2 species). Morphological characteristics of the Orbioninae, Frontal lamina and coxal plates well-developed, body larger. The phylogenetic relationships inferred from morphological characteristics suggest that the Orbioninae is a relatively evolutionary group of the Epicaridea, Its geographical distribution is restricted by the geographical distribution of the Penaeoidea. Species are relatively concentrated in the Indo-West Pacific from the Red Sea to Japan. According to the geographic distribution of the genus of the Orbioninae, It is presumed that the evolution of the Orbioninae must have evolved since the closing of the circumtropical Tethys Sea, thus no later than the Eocene. |
