逆式回声测量仪在全球海洋中应用及前景展望

摘要:
逆式回声测量仪(IES)是一种坐底式的海洋观测仪器,其主要测量声波由海底到海表的传播时间,搭载压力和流速仪(称为CPIES)后能同步的测量海底的压力和流速流向。采取不同的排列方式布放的CPIES阵列获取的数据、结合GEM (Gravest Empirical Mode)以及最优插值方法能够获得观测海区的温度、盐度和流场的三维空间分布特征。目前CPIES已广泛的成功应用于世界各个海区,同时我国在南海、吕宋海峡等也开展了相关的观测。本文详细的介绍了世界上IES的发展历史及世界上一些大型的应用计划等,并重点阐述了CPIES在我国吕宋海峡周边的布放的意义及对未来应用的展望 。

Application and prospect of Inverted Echo Sounder in global ocean

Abstract:
Inverted Echo Sounder (IES) is a bottom-mounted ocean observation instrument, which mainly measures and recorder the propagation time of sound waves from bottom to the sea surface. The CPIES equipped with pressure sensor and current meter sensor can simultaneously measure the bottom pressure and bottom current. The data obtained from the CPIES array arranged in different arrangements, combined with the Gravest Empirical Mode (GEM) and the optimal interpolation method, can obtain the three-dimensional spatial distribution characteristics of temperature, salinity and flow field in the observed sea area. At present, CPIES has been widely used in various sea areas of the world. At the same time, China has also carried out related observations in the South China Sea and around the Luzon Strait. In this paper, the development history of IES and some large-scale application plans in the world are introduced in detail, and focuses on the significance of the deployment of CPIES around the Luzon Strait in China and its prospects for future applications.
