| 海南岛桥虫类动物调查初步报告 |

| 1959年底，中国科学院海洋研究所在海南岛的海口、三亚港、东锣岛、东洲及西洲岛、马岭、鹿迴头、苍头前、白每头、盐灶、崖城、北港等地，进行了普遍调查，采得桥虫类动物，计星虫14种、螠虫2种，其中星虫有6新种，螠虫有1新属新种。由于采集期短，地区不广，所得种类，仅可代表一部分区系，先作初步报告如次。 |

| Abstract: |
| During the months of November and December, 1959, an extensive zoological col1ection of the gephyrean worms was made under the auspices of the Institute of Oceanology, Academia Sinica, along the coast of Hainan Island. On1y a limited amount of work has been done either by the author or others in the past on the distribution of this group of animals in China, and there is no record ever placed with the material of this region. The present col1ection reveals many genuine species distributed therein. There are altogether 16 species, 6 in the order Sipunculida and 1 in Echiurida are new to science. The latter is a new genus and several others are new records in China. |
