| 西沙群岛是我国南海诸岛西部的一组岛群，位于海南岛的东南面。我国西沙群岛附近海域有丰富的水产资源，是我国的良好渔场之一，自古以来就是我国勤劳勇敢渔民的重要捕渔场所。为了建设我国神圣领土南海诸岛，解放后我所和其他许多单位曾多次组织考察团进行资源调查。本文就是根据中国科学院海洋研究所1975年4月-6月，以及中国科学院南海海洋研究所在西沙群岛采集的部分标本，经整理鉴定后写成。 |

| Abstract: |
| ,The present report is a part of the results of our. investigation on the Pelagic polychaetes of the South China Sea. Specimens were collected by the South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, Academia Sinica and Institute of Oceanology,Acade mia Sinica with plankton net in March to June 1975 from the Xisha Islands 一一-a group of South China Sea coral islands located about 170 miles southeast from Yulingkang of the Hainan Island. Twelve species were identified belonging to 8 genera in 4.families, of which 9 species (with asterisk) are recorded for the first time f'rom Chinese waters. |
