| 楯手目Aspidochirota海参是印度-西太平洋区热带和亚热带海域常见的大形无脊椎动物。绝大多数食用种类均包括在这个目内,经济意义很大。
曾研究和报道过中国楯手目海参的研究者有: Ludwig(1875),Theel(1886),Heding(1934),张凤瀛(1934,1954),张凤瀛、廖玉麟(1963)、张凤瀛、廖玉麟等(1964)和廖玉麟(1975,1980)。
中国的楯手目海参,共报道过50种,分隶于3科17属。本文对在我国尚未描述过的种类进行了描述,供有关部门参考。 |

| Abstract: |
| The aspidochirote holothurians are mostly large benthic animals common in tropical and subtropical waters, especially in the Indo- West Pacific area. Nearly all the edible species belong to this order. It is therefore important to study the Taxonomy of aspidochirote holothurians.
A total of fifty species was reported by the following investigators as Ludwig(1875),Theel(1886), Heding(1934), Chang (1934, 1954), Chang and Liao(1963), Chang et al(1964)and Liao(1975, 1980 ). R list of the species is given on page 221. In the present paper some description are given for the species which had not yet been described in China.
The material upon which this report was based was collected by the Institute of Oceanology. Academia Sinica, in the past 28 years. Most of the specimens came from the littoral region, but some were dredged out by the benthic biological survey. |
