有害藻华数据分析与可视化平台的设计

摘要:
有害藻华是海洋中最为常见的一类生态灾害问题,对养殖业、旅游业和公众健康等造成了严重威胁,也给海洋管理带来了巨大的挑战。近年来,与有害藻华相关的生物、化学、水文、气象等观测数据以及有害藻华发生记录等统计数据不断积累,统计学方法、地理信息系统(Geographic Information System, GIS)等数据分析方法也在快速发展,为深入挖掘有害藻华时空演变特征、提高有害藻华监测预警水平奠定了重要基础。本研究综合应用数据库、地理信息系统及可视化技术,设计了一套集有害藻华多源异构数据管理、分析与可视化为一体的综合平台,能够实现对有害藻华相关数据的存储和动态关联,并集成了空间分析方法,实现了数据和分析产品的可视化。本研究以渤海有害藻华长期时空演变特征探究为案例,展示了该平台在有害藻华数据分析与可视化方面应用效果。该平台可望为公众科普、科学分析和政府决策等提供支撑。

DESIGN OF THE INTEGRATED PLATFORM FOR HARMFUL ALGAL BLOOMS ANALYSIS AND VISUALIZATION

Abstract:
As one of the marine ecological disasters, harmful algal blooms (HABs) can have severe impacts on mariculture, tourism and public health and therefore it has brought huge challenges to marine management. It has been accumulated for a long time on the data related to HABs including observed data such as biology, chemistry, hydrology, meteorology and statistical data such as records of harmful algal bloom events. In recent years, there has also been a rapid development on methods such as statistical methods, geographic information system (GIS) tools, and so on. Based on the data and methods, it will be possible for studying long-term temporal and spatial characteristics of HABs and even predicting HABs. This study integrates database, GIS tools and visualization technology to design the comprehensive platform including data management platform, GIS analysis platform, and visualization platform. The platform realizes the dynamic join and storage scalability for multi-source HAB data, integrated methods for spatial analysis and visualization for data and products. A case study on the long-term temporal and spatial evolution of HABs in the Bohai Sea has been applied in the study. The platform will provide support for public attention, scientific analysis, and government decision-making.
