Abstract: |
In this paper, by means of optomotor reaction, We study the receptive ability oi young Penaeus orientalis to moving objects and its relation with the environmental illumination. The results are as follows: The receptive ability of young prawns to moving objects increases non-linearly with the intensification of the environmental illumination, under the highest illumination(103lx) and lowest illumination (10-3lx) in this experiment, the prawns can distinguish the direction of moving objects at frequency 37/s and 5/s. The prawns may have scotopic aad photopic visions, and the transitional illumination between these two visions is 10-1-10+1 lx). |
