中国近海海表高度异常资料再处理

摘要:
在产生AVISO全球0.25度多颗卫星海面高度异常产品时,只用了二分之一到三分之一的部分沿轨资料,给区域性海洋动力学研究造成了一定的限制。针对卫星海面高度异常产品再处理的研究多集中在欧洲和美国近海,中国近海尚未有过。本研究尝试利用多颗卫星的所有沿轨资料及25个测潮站的观测资料,通过最优插值方法产生一份新的中国近海海面高度异常资料。新资料的空间分辨率仍为0.25度,但使用了来自三颗卫星(Jason-1、Jason-2、CryoSat-2)的所有沿轨资料及25个测潮站的观测资料。新资料的范围为〖10〗^°S-〖50〗^°N、〖90〗^°E-〖160〗^°E。新资料与AVISO资料的对比分析表明新资料更接近沿轨海面高度异常观测,同时也更接近测潮站资料。与AVISO资料相比,新资料与沿轨海面高度异常观测的均方根误差降低了10.03%,与测潮站资料的均方根误差降低了50.4%。

Reprocessing of Sea Level Anomaly for the Chinese Coastal Region

Abstract:
When generating the used AVISO 0.25 degree global sea level anomaly product, only part (half or one third) of the along-track data were used, which caused some restrictions to the regional application of the product. Researches on reprocessing the satellite level anomaly are mainly focused on European and the US coastal regions. There is no reprocessing of satellite sea surface height observation for the Chinese coastal region. This study attempts to use three satellite along-track observations and 25 tide gauge station observations to generate a new sea level anomaly products for the Chinese coast region by optimal interpolation method. Spatial resolution of the new data products is still 0.25 degrees. However, all the along-track observations from three satellites (Jason-1, Jason-2, CryoSat-2) and 25 tide gauge stations were used. Our method is tested for 2012 and the domain of the new data product is 〖10〗^°S-〖50〗^°N and 〖90〗^°E-〖160〗^°E. The new data product is also accessed against the AVISO product, along-track observations and tidal gauge observations. Our analysis indicates that the new data product is not only closer to the along-track satellite observations, but also closer to the tide gauge station observations. Comparing with the AVISO product, the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) between the new product and the along-track satellite observation is reduced by 10.03%, and the RMSE between the new product and tidal gauge observations is reduced by 50.4%.
