利用取自冲绳海槽北部的80个表层沉积物样品,对其中的放射虫壳体进行了定量分析研究。Q-型因子分析得到3个主因子, 方差累积贡献为90.2%;3个主因子划分出了3个放射虫组合, 它们的分布和组成与研究区的水团有很好的相关性。组合Ⅰ以Tetrapyle circularis、Tetrapyle quadriloba和Ommatartus tetrathalamus tetrathalamus等属种为主要分子, 分布在西北部陆架和陆坡区, 反映陆架水与对马暖流水相互作用的混合水环境;以Lithelius minor、Dictyocoryne profunda、Stylodictya multispina、Acrosphaera spinosa、Dictyocoryne truncatum、Spongaster tetrars、Stylodictya arachnia和Ommatartus tetrathalamus tetrathalamus等属种为主的组合Ⅱ,在东南部海槽区占优势, 反映黑潮流系影响的海洋环境, 同时其分布和组成又受水深的制约;以Tetrapyle quadriloba和Monozonium pachystylum为主的组合Ⅲ仅解释了总方差的8.3%, 其分布没有明显的优势区域, 可能代表黑潮水到混合水的过渡环境。这3个组合的分布和变化也反映了各水体的活动范围。

MODERN RADIOLARIAN ASSEMBLAGES IN SURFICIAL SEDIMENTS OF NORTHERN OKINAWA TROUGH |

Quantitative analysis of radiolarians was carried out for 80 surficial sediment samples collected from the northern Okinawa Trough. Q-mode factor analysis based on 43 radiolarian categories identified three factors, which account for 90.2% of the variance. Further, three radiolarian assemblages could be delimited and their distribution and compositions are closely related to the watermasses in the study area. AssemblageⅠis dominated by Tetrapyle circularis、Tetrapyle quadriloba and Ommatartus tetrathalamus tetrathalamus, with high factor component values being found in the northwestern part of the study area where mixed water dominates. Assemblage Ⅱ is dominated by Lithelius minor、Dictyocoryne profunda、Stylodictya multispina、Acrosphaera spinosa、Dictyocoryne truncatum、Spongaster tetrars、Stylodictya arachnia and Ommatartus tetrathalamus tetrathalamus. This assemblage is important in the area subjected to the influence of the Kuroshio. Moreover, it is restricted by the water depth. Assemblage Ⅲ is composed mainly of Tetrapyle quadriloba and Monozonium pachystylum. It accounts for only 8.3% of the total variance, and its distribution does not show any dominant regions. It may represent the transitional condition between the mixed water and the Kuroshio water. The changes in the distribution of these assemblages could be regarded as not only modifications of the water masses but also indicators of the possible movements of the watermasses.
