TRANSFORMATION AND AMPLIFICATION OF RECOMBINANT PLASMID CONTAINING ANTIFREEZE PROTEIN GENES

Abstract:

Some of the plasmid containing antifreeze protein genes were assayed by agarose gel elec-trcphoresis and others transformed into the E.coli C₆₀₀. It was amplificated in the BL-med-iam and then purified by speed-extraction method. The plasmid DNA extracted was charact-eristed by agarose gel eleetphoresis again, showing that the plasmid containing antifreeze protein genes has been transformed into the E.coli C₆₀₀ and amplified.
