A HIGH ACCURATE GRAVITY SURVEY EAST OFF THE ZHOUSHAN ISLANDS IN THE EAST CHINA SEA

Abstract:

A gravity survey conducted in the area east off the Zhoushan Islands in the East China Sea from April to June in 1988 is described in this paper. The 61 gravity profiles obtained is about 3000 km long with 197 cross-over points in the survey network which has an accuracy of 0.6 mgals. The gravimeter used was a KSS-5 system (West Germany).
