南极磷虾资源及其甲壳素医用生物材料研究综述

摘要:
近几十年来甲壳素及其衍生物因其特殊的性质而受到关注,但其原料的资源量、原料品质的稳定性越来越成为限制(或影响)其高值化应用的突出问题, 特别是在医用生物材料开发方面需要稳定和均一的甲壳素原料来源。南极磷虾拥有庞大的生物量, 可再生性强, 个体差异小, 资源充足稳定。随着中国南极磷虾规模化捕捞技术和综合加工利用体系的不断发展, 南极磷虾在医用生物材料领域展现出独特的天然优势, 尤其是作为优质甲壳素来源的潜力。未来通过深化相关研究, 必将会带来巨大的开发应用价值。本文系统综述南极磷虾的生物资源量、自然分布特点、捕捞加工可利用情况, 并以此为基础着重总结了南极磷虾甲壳素及其主要衍生物的结构特点、制备技术和生物特性, 以及近年来的研究进展, 助力南极磷虾的高值化综合利用和可持续发展。

Antarctic krill resources and application of its chitin: a review

Abstract:
In recent decades, chitin and its derivatives have attracted great attention because of their unique properties; however, the stability and quality of raw material resources have emerged as key challenges limiting their high-value application. This issue is particularly critical in the development of biomaterials for medical use, which needs a stable and uniform supply of chitin. Antarctic krill, with its vast biomass, high renewability, minimal individual-specific differences, and abundant and stable availability, presents a promising alternative. Its distinct natural characteristics make it especially suitable for fabricating medical-grade biomaterials, particularly as a potential source of high-quality chitosan. China’s Antarctic krill-associated large-scale fishing technology, comprehensive processing capabilities, and utilization systems have developed continuously. This paper systematically reviews the biological resources, natural distribution characteristics, and utilization of Antarctic krill. It also summarizes the structural characteristics, preparation technology, and biological characteristics of Antarctic krill-based chitin and its main derivatives. Recent research progress in this field is also discussed so as to promote the comprehensive utilization and sustainable development of high-value Antarctic krill resources. Further in-depth research would enormously enhance the development and application potential of krill-derived chitin.
