TSUNAMI AROUND THE SHANDONG PENINSULA
Abstract:
This paper reports mainly the gereral characteristics of tsunami which occurs usually between summer and autumn and the damage it brought about to the Shandong Peninsula Its formation is related to astronomic and meteorologic conditions. Meanwhile, certain coastal morphological conditions may enhance the destructive effect of tsunami.
