STUDY ON COLLAGENOLYTIC BACTERIA IN THE SEA
Abstract:
Fifty-three collagenolytic bacteria were isolated from samples from Jiaozhou Bay. Most of them belong to the genera Pseudomonas, Vibrio and Alcaligenes. Some of the cultures could completely decompose Asterias amurensis and fish skin(Navodon) in a few days.
