Abstract: |
We measured the release rates of inorganic phosphorus, nitrite nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen and ammonia of Litopenaeus vannamei under different conditions. Temperature, weight, salinity, pH and feeding status affected metabolism. The release rates of phosphorus, nitrite nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen and ammonia nitrogen were negatively correlated with the body weight. In the range of 20—30℃, as the temperature rose, the release rates of phosphorus, nitrite nitrogen and ammonia were increased; the release rate of nitrate nitrogen was highest at 25℃. In the range of 10—31, as the salinity increased, the release rate of phosphorus of L. vannamei [(5.341±0.041)g] was increased, the release rates of nitrite nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, and ammonia nitrogen were decreased. In the range of 7.5—9.0, as the pH increased, the release rate of phosphorus by L. vannamei [(5.355±0.021)g] was decreased significantly; and the release rate of nitrite nitrogen was increased. When pH was 8.5, the release rate of ammonia nitrogen reached the maximum, the release rate of nitrate nitrogen reached the minimum. Compared with the state of hunger, in the condition of feeding formula foodstuff, the release rate of phosphate, nitrite nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, and ammonia nitrogen by L. vannamei [(0.344±0.063)g] were increased by 38.5%, 131.3%, 93.4%, and 93.3%, respectively. Results show that the protein metabolism increases significantly in feeding.
